Norton Star Atlas Free __HOT__ Download Pdf

This is a self-printed atlas for observing only the Polaris system of deep sky objects which are the most visible. The included map extends from Callisto to 69 Cygni. Maps are included for the whole sky over 1000 degrees. These charts are specially designed to be used on polaroids and other chart paper of the same or wider than the charts themselves. The atlas provides a means to view the sky from multiple observing perspectives without the need to learn the coordinate system of the sky.

This is no ordinary star atlas: the stars in this book are artfully irregular. Sky charts are each selected two or three times, and are mixed together according to apparent magnitudes and the aspect of the full moon throughout the year. Use is recommended for everything from absolute beginner to advanced deep-sky observer.

The result is a richly diverse collection of new star maps that provides virtually unlimited opportunities for stargazing. The charts and maps are printed on slightly curved polaroid films, which slope slightly from North to South and are packaged in a cardboard box, wrapped in cellophane, and inserted into a standard size cardboard sleeve, allowing the use of the charts and maps with any pentax K1000 or K100D image/video camera or other DLSR camera. The maps are also suitable for use as desk-top charts for the use of computers and PDAs and laptop computers.

For best results print this atlas on A3 pages, in black & white, portrait orientation, at 600 dpi resolution. Make sure that "reduce to printer margins" option is checked. Cover should be the first page, then a spread of index1 and index2 followed by the rest. Or simply print the whole PDF document, starting with the cover page. If you choose to laminate the atlas - you may use a metal ring binder (see the following picture). To print the atlas Acrobat reader is required.

Small and clearly written, yet with large-scale markings to make finding stars and constellations easy, the 2012 Edition includes more than 92,000 stars to a maximum of 10 magnitude, plus the New General Catalog, while the 2011 edition includes more than 73,000 stars to a maximum of 9 magnitude, and the New General Catalog. d2c66b5586
