Orc Strongholds are fortified settlements that are home to the Orcs, a proud and hardy race of warriors and smiths. Orc Strongholds are scattered throughout Tamriel, but most of them are located in Skyrim, High Rock, and Hammerfell. In Skyrim, there are four Orc Strongholds: Dushnikh Yal, Largashbur, Mor Khazgur, and Narzulbur. Each stronghold has its own unique culture, history, and quests. Dushnikh Yal

Dushnikh Yal is a prosperous Orc stronghold located in the southwest of Skyrim, southeast of Markarth. It is led by Chief Burguk, who has two wives: Arob and Gharol. The stronghold also contains a blacksmith forge, a grindstone, a workbench, an alchemy lab, a tanning rack, a wood chopping block, a cooking pot, and a vegetable garden. The stronghold owns and operates an orichalcum mine containing seven orichalcum ore veins.

The main quest related to Dushnikh Yal is The Cursed Tribe, which involves helping the Orcs lift a curse placed on them by Malacath. The reward for completing this quest is Volendrung, a powerful Daedric warhammer. Largashbur is an accursed Orc stronghold located in the southeast of Skyrim, west-southwest of Riften. It is led by Chief Yamarz, who is weak and cowardly. The stronghold is constantly attacked by giants, and the Orcs live in fear and isolation. The stronghold contains a blacksmith forge, a grindstone, a workbench, an alchemy lab, a tanning rack, a wood chopping block, and a cooking spit.

The main quest related to Largashbur is also The Cursed Tribe, which involves helping the Orcs appease Malacath by killing a giant leader at Fallowstone Cave. The reward for completing this quest is Volendrung as well. Another quest that involves Largashbur is Ill Met By Moonlight, which requires hunting down a white stag for Hircine.
