I'd be curious if this works for you. My experience has been that Compressor 4.4.7/4.4.8 no longer support MXF codecs even though the latest proVideo update 2.2 does. I have stayed on compressor 4.4.6 as a result as that is the last version to support dnx same as source files even though Apple said this would be maintained through the Mojave OS. It is not the case. They should have made EOL of Compressor for Mojave at 4.4.6 and as a result have put everyone using Compressor in a situation to not be able to use it with the native avid codecs. You also will find Apple unwilling to help roll you back to 4.4.6 leaving you stuck. As a result i have purchased ffWorks which has a bit of a learning curve but is very functional and does quite a lot. Compressor was still a nicer interface and did a few things that ffworks can't but at least ffWorks reads all the codecs.
